COVID-19 – Need to Know

Everyone is a little more concerned about staying healthy over the past few weeks—but at Proactive MD, your health has always been our top priority. And even though some of our procedures are changing to help slow the spread of COVID-19, our promise to you remains the same: We are only and always about our patients, and we promise to always fight for their greatest good. Here’s what you can expect from your Proactive MD Health Center during the next several weeks.

All patients entering the Health Center will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19.

We want to protect you, your family, and your fellow coworkers by slowing the spread of the virus. Screening patients will help us avoid any potential contamination of the Health Center so we can remain open to serve you.

Your Proactive MD care team will guide you to a testing facility in your community if your symptoms require a COVID-19 test.

We want to ensure you are receiving the quickest, safest, and most accurate test possible. Your practitioner will work with you to help find the best testing location and help guide you through the process, letting you know what to expect and following up after your test.

We are still here to serve for any of your primary care needs.

We know that the COVID-19 virus is not your only health concern, and we want to make sure you stay healthy! Give us a call before coming in for your lifestyle management appointments, yearly wellness appointments, labs, etc. We’ll help you assess whether a virtual visit is appropriate if you’re worried about being exposed to germs, and we will make sure you get the care you need, when you need it.
